Many (if not most) people have a greater vision for their lives than they are currently experiencing. Many people feel stuck, not knowing what to do next.
Have you ever felt that way?
One of the key lessons I’ve learned is that in order to BE, DO, or HAVE more, I have to BECOME more. Becoming more requires me to grow. In order to grow, I must be INTENTIONAL. I must take imperfect action. Afterall, you can’t steer a parked car. It just doesn’t go anywhere and neither do we.
Wishing that things were different doesn’t change anything. Hoping that my situation was different doesn’t make it so. Wishing and hope are not strategies.
If you want to receive a job promotion, you must become a better employee and leader. If you want to become a better parent or spouse, you must invest in yourself and find mentors. If you want to be a better friend, you need to block time out for those you care about the most. None of these things will happen by accident.
Some growth occurs organically over time without much effort, but significant exponential growth that really makes a difference requires intentional decisions and actions.
Spend time thinking about your goals, then make a list of decisions you must make and actions you must take in order to achieve those goals. Commit to yourself and another person that you will achieve these actions by a specific date. Give yourself a deadline.
If you want to experience breakthrough, be intentional and calendarize key actions. Block it out and knock it out!
You can do this! I believe in you!
Be Intentionally Great today!
